Our Story

Finally Free didn’t start as the entrance of a prison, it started as a reality. I had to navigate.

As a child, I stood at the entrance of prison, unaware that the system I was stepping into would later become the same system I would have to fight my way out of. That moment never left me. It shaped how I see the world, and more importantly, how I do this work. Everything that followed, education, professional growth, and the work I do today was built on that foundation. Not to erase the past, but to use it.

Today, I work directly with individuals, families, and organizations navigating reentry and youth intervention, not from theory, but from lived experience. I understand the barriers because I’ve faced them. I understand the system because I’ve been inside it. Finally Free is about more than transformation, its about structure, accountability, and real guidance for people working to rebuild their lives.

This isn’t just my story. This is the work.
